Educated at the Culinary Institute of America, Executive Chef and owner Peter Pollay brings years of restaurant experience to one of downtown Asheville’s most historic corners. Prior to opening Posana® Cafe, North Carolina’s first Certified Green Restaurant®, Peter worked with chefs Wolfgang Puck, David Burke, and Waldy Malouf, and restaurateur Larry Levy. Celebrated photographer Charley Akers will have his first full gallery show in N.C. from May 14, with an opening reception from 4:30 – 6:30 pm at The Adler Gallery, through August.
Akers will feature 12 artists from the mountains of North Carolina in an exhibition at The Adler Gallery in Asheville and an additional 12 artists from southern California in a simultaneous show, his third consecutive, at the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel.
